Fumio Tanai presents " Photo- Sliding screen ", a showcase of an exhibiton at Williamsburg Art & Historical in NYC.
In this showcase, Fumio will be displaying 80 inc × 120 inc photographs.

Shoji is made form wooden latticework and thin paper. It is a Japanese sliding screen for a traditional room. They are usually installed in the corridor facing a garden so that the natural light comes through the screen; it is a symbolic structure of traditional Japanese architecture. In this exhibition, Fumio Tanai and curator Naramoto will put photographs on one frame each and combine them together to create a photo-sliding screen.
